A free tool to conduct surveys and polls seems appropriate on Election Day.
Google Forms is an easy tool for customer feedback, informal market research or employee surveys. You can set up questions with short or extended text answers, drop-down answers, checkboxes or radio buttons.
There are templates you can use for different types of surveys.
Although Google requires respondents to provide their email addresses, as the survey creator you can choose whether to collect that information or let people answer anonymously. Google Forms tabulates results and puts them into easy-to-understand charts or graphs. Once you have results, they are easy to share.
You can insert Google Forms into your website or include a link in an email or a social media post. Although the tool is free, it does require a Google account to use
The next newsletter arrives Nov. 19. In the northeastern U.S., most deciduous trees will have dropped their leaves, and landscapes will look like harbingers of cold weather.
Between now and then, make sure to thank U.S. military veterans for their service on Nov. 11, Veterans Day. The day before, Nov. 10, the U.S. Marine Corps celebrates its birthday.
